Dev Update #6

Character sheet polish, formatting fixes, and multi-instance groundwork.

dev-update

No joke, we’re back with another update. Character sheets got a round of polish, the message composer picked up a fix, and some important groundwork landed behind the scenes.

Character sheet improvements

The sheet panel is now resizable. Drag the edge to widen or narrow it, and the layout adapts. Your preferred width sticks between sessions.

Sections, notes, and counters can now be reordered by dragging. Grab the handle and move things where you want them.

A few smaller wins: the confirm dialog for unsaved changes is no longer the browser’s default popup. Error messages are clearer when something goes wrong during a save. And “Edit Character” opens the sheet panel directly instead of a separate modal.

Formatting toggle fix

Applying bold or italic to already-formatted text now removes the formatting instead of double-wrapping it. Same for links.

Behind the scenes

We laid the groundwork for running multiple servers in parallel. Not visible to users yet, but it means we can scale with confidence a sweat when the time comes.
